The Show runs between 9.00am to 4.00pm each day and attracts around 25,000 visitors over the weekend.
The Spring Festival started life as the Smallholder Show with a focus on small scale production, sustainable living and gardening. The event has retained its original flavour and the Farmers’ Market is well established as a popular and integral part of the show.
The inside of the hall is set out as a market with stalls 2.4m X 1.2m. Electricity is available at each of these. The surrounds of the hall are set out with stalls offering food for immediate consumption and has, over the years, become the foremost supplier of refreshments. The size of the food stalls is variable and charged pro rata.
For those wishing to serve hot food and drink for consumption on the Show Ground a concession fee will be required.Concessions
The application deadline is 14th February 2014 (application is via an online form at Application Form) Applicants will be chosen according to how closely they match the aims of the Farmers’ Market and to provide a balance of products. Successful applicants will be notified by February 31st.
The criteria for selection will be based on how closely the products represent the overall nature of the event as well as preference given to Producer Members of Farmers’ Markets in Wales details
