Usk Farmers' Market

Saturday January 16th 2010

Scout Centenary Hall & Car Park

10.00am to 1.00pm

Market Manager's Notes

Welcome to the first market of 2010. Many of the producers have been affected by the recent poor weather and this market will not have the full range of produce although there will be an excelent selection of the "basics" plus a few extra delights. We shall be missing bread - David's Farm is still cut off and there may be a limited selection of vegetables depending on how quickly the snow thaws. Barbara Warren was not able to get to the abattoir so there will be no pork.

The market is welcoming two new members, Clare from Plant-to-Plate with ready made meals and Lewis Phillips from Clams Cakes

Please note that apple juice from Craig Barn Farm will be available at this market. John and Margaret usually attend the first market each month but not during February, so you will need to stock up on the apple juice to tide you over untill March 6th

Message from Penrhiw Farm

Please Note the change to previously published information: Graham Waddington is unwelll and not able tp bring Trealy Farm Products to this market. We wish him a speedy recovery as well as good wishes to Diana Smart who is suffering from a deep vein thrombosis in her leg. Jo Smart will be at this market.
